Live from Studio5 in Evanston

In two weeks, we will be playing at Studio 5 in Evanston for Steve Rashid Presents. This is a series run by Steve Rashid (who also wrote the liner notes for "Lost Lyrics") that features small group performances in an intimate concert setting. The performance will be streamed live and will also be featured on Steve's Tuesday night radio show on Chicago's jazz radio station WDCB. 

As a fan of the series, I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of it. Having watched many of Steve's shows and listened to his radio show, I am always drawn to the way he presents artists and the stories he gets them to share in his thoughtful interviews. As a musician, writer and recording engineer, he knows music inside and out and it's always a treat to be a part of his projects, be it as an audience member or collaborator. 

For this performance, we plan to perform the tunes from the album in the original arrangements from the album. We'll also be sharing a lot of stories about how we compiled the music. If you're a fan of the album, you won't want to miss this show!
